We tried and tested over 5 different handlebars, and in the process upgraded our version 2 electric bicycles with a more comfort fitting, relaxed bike handlebar. Unfortunately, within the ebike industry, boring, flat, straight handlebars are all too common. Rad Power Bikes, Sondors, Juiced, and Super 73, all some of the top ebike brands by market share, have straight, perpendicular handlebars. The straight handlebars and bike frame may give the bike their desired style and look, but when it comes to comfort they seriously lack. These companies put so much into ads and customer acquisition that they fail to invest in the core components of their bikes. They’ll try and hide their poor quality materials by spending on a similar watt motor or battery life, but the components that surround them are compromised.
