Tower Electric Bikes are covered under a one year comprehensive warranty for the original owner against any defects arising due to manufacturer error. As per our shipping policy, replacement parts shipped under warranty can only be shipped within the USA (excluding US territories, Alaska and Hawaii). Tower Electric Bikes warrants this product, including all individual components against defects in material or workmanship including but not exclusive to the following:
Tower Electric Bikes 1-Year Warranty
Tower Electric Bikes bicycle components and hardware are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase. We do not cover rider wear and tear that arises through usage in the warranty. Tower Electric Bikes’ batteries are also warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase. The battery warranty does not include damage that arises from usage, power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage.
What Will We Do If You Have Problems With Your Bike?
If a component is defective or damaged without use we will issue a replacement part free of charge. We will assist you in replacing any defective part. We will replace any parts that have been damaged from shipping your order to you. We will provide only the original purchaser with a replacement product if the affected product can not be repaired after a reasonable number of attempts as determined by Tower Electric Bikes.
In Order To Qualify For A Replacement Under Warranty?
First, Tower Electric Bikes must see photographic or video evidence of the damaged part. The claimer of the warranty must be the first owner of the product (we will not issue warranty replacements if the bike has been sold as second hand). We will not replace any part that has been damaged by the user. We will not pay for any third party service or part replacement unless agreed upon ?prior? to the fix.
If the purchaser sets up their own shipping option or if the bike is shipped using a freight forwarder or similar service, Tower Electric Bikes will ?not? cover any damage that occurs during shipping.
Terms of Warranty
This warranty only applies to the original owner of a Tower Electric Bikes bicycle. The replacement of defective parts under warranty is at the sole discretion of Tower Electric Bikes. This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from the following (including but not limited to) failure to follow assembly and other instructions provided in the owner’s manual, misuse, acts of God, neglect, water damage, modification, abuse, commercial use, accident, stunt riding, alterations, improper assembly, wear and tear, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold, operator error, extreme riding, or improper follow-up maintenance. In certain, extreme instances an entire replacement bike may be issued, in these cases the original bike may have to return to the Tower Electric Bikes facility for examination/repair before a replacement bike is sent out. A new bike will not always be sent, if repairs can be made and the same bike can be returned to the purchaser, this will be course of action that Tower Electric Bikes will follow. This warranty does not include parts that undergo normal wear and tear as a result of usage (tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and housing, grips). Tower Electric Bikes will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Shipping damage should be brought to the attention of Tower Electric Bikes as soon as possible after any damage is observed. In no event shall Tower Electric Bikes be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or product liability in connection with their products.
All claims to this warranty must be made through Tower Electric Bikes. We will require proof of purchase before processing any warranty request. Before making a warranty claim, we suggest that you contact our Technical Support team at firstname.lastname@example.org as there may be a simple fix for your problem. Valid warranty claims will be processed through Tower Electric Bikes within one year of initial purchase. Warranty claims may be submitted to email@example.com.
Claims Relating To Shipping Damage
Once you receive your order from Tower Electric BIkes, we suggest that you IMMEDIATELY inspect your product(s) for damage. Freight damage claims must be made as early as possible as they are highly time sensitive. We will not accept shipping damage claims any later than 30 days from receipt of product. On the Bill of Lading, not any/all damages you before you and the driver sign-off on the shipment. Take pictures of any damage that is found, and date the images when possible. Keep all packaging and paperwork until the inspection process is complete. Whenever possible, report damage claims within 10 days of delivery to a Tower Electric Bikes’ customer service representative.
